Norma Badino

She arrived at the Institute of Physics in Bariloche in 1956 and was a privileged observer of the creation and beginnings of what was later called the Balseiro Institute.
In 1959 she settled in the United States, where she took courses in literature and sociology at Illinois Benedict, in Lisle, Illinois, and was part of the school library organization teams of the DuPage County, Illinois, Board of Education.
Upon her return to the country, she took over the direction of the Library of the Instituto Balseiro, now the Leo Falicov Library, until 1995, when she took charge of the organization of the Enrique Gaviola Historical Archive and the Instituto Balseiro.
She taught English at the IB until her retirement in 1995, teaching advanced courses and intensive entrance courses.
She was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Asociación Biblioteca Popular Sarmiento de Bariloche.
